The Flight Design CT is the performance leader in Light Sport Aircraft due to its remarkable design and high-tech construction. CT stands for Composite-Technology and the name is correct. The carbon fiber and kevlar composite airframe allows for a very strong, light and aerodynamically clean design. The unique fuselage design of the CT minimizes drag and maximizes interior room for you and your luggage. The attention to detail and the cleanliness of the airframe allows for previously unheard of cruising speeds and range in this category of aircraft.
Comfort The quiet cabin of the CT has a width of 49”. The 2-way adjustable seats and extra-wide cabin doors makes for a comfortable experience for you and your passenger. The ergonomic arrangement of the controls and instruments, plus the CT’s terrific visibility, makes long flights more relaxing and fun.
Performance The CT has a cruising speed of over *115kts at 75% power and a maximum range of over 1000 Nautical miles! The strutless carbon fiber wing has high-lift slotted flaps for amazing short field capabilities. Due to the strength to weight ratio of carbon fiber, the CT has a useful load of
over 600 lbs., more than its empty weight.

Safety The CT has been certified to 3 international Airworthiness standards and was developed by Flight Design’s professional engineering staff with safety utmost in their minds. The structure of the CT is over 90% carbon fiber and kevlar which provides superior pilot and passenger protection. Four-point safety harnesses, wing located fuel tanks and optional BRS parachute system are just a few of the well thought out safety features of this state-of-the-art aircraft.
